Can’t Out-Love God

As a church committed to praying for one another, we post this daily reminder we can all use for that purpose. It contains links to a Bible reading that if followed daily will have taken you through the entire Bible by this time next year, devotional thoughts from Our Daily Bread, and the passage upon which those thoughts are based, with a prayer inspired by that passage. Devotional Passage: 1 John 4:15-21
Prayer: We thank You, Heavenly Father, that we can actually know and rely on Your love for us; that living in Your love and therefore You in us makes love complete among us so that as we are like Jesus in this world, we will have confidence on the Day of His return. May we live in Your perfect love that casts out all fear of any punishment and frees us to unconditionally love one another. We pray to you as the One Who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to Your power that is at work within us, that You will strengthen us with power through Your Spirit so that as Christ dwells in our hearts through faith we will be rooted and established in love, having power together to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know the lavishness of that love that surpasses knowledge that we may be filled to the measure of Your fullness to the praise of Your glory, and that of Your Beloved Son in Whose Name we pray. Amen.
