As a church committed to praying for one another, we post this daily reminder we can all use for that purpose. It contains links to a Bible reading that if followed daily will have taken you through the entire Bible by this time next year, devotional thoughts from Our Daily Bread, and the passage upon which those thoughts are based, with a prayer inspired by that passage. We hope you will find it helpful!

Devotional Passage: Exodus 23:20-26
Prayer: We thank You, Heavenly Father, for Your angels who are ministering spirits sent to serve us as those who will inherit salvation; for the protection, encouragement, exhortation, and service they provide as Your messengers on behalf of Your Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. While we may not recognize them as such, we realize their central role in preserving us as we prepare for His arrival. Please therefore remind us often to not neglect being hospital to strangers because in so doing, we may be showing hospitality to angels without knowing it. But also grace us with keen discernment to categorically reject any messengers, no matter how angelic they may seem, who do anything other than glorify, exalt, and point directly, uniquely, and only to Jesus in Whose Name we pray. Amen.
